Steps not showing

I have the fitbit app on my apple lap top and on my iphone.  I walked over 11,000 steps today and it showed up on my Iphone but once I got home this evening I checked my laptop and it shows that I only have 543 steps for the day.  But, when I switch it to distance it shows that I walked over 4.5 miles. Can someone please explain what could be wrong?

Hey hey hey @1lovestepping it's nice to see you around more often! Cat WinkUuuhh this is weird, I'd suggest you restart your tracker and force sync it with your iOS device by doing the following:

1. Open the Fitbit app from your iOS device. Sign into your account if you haven't done so already.
2. Tap your tracker name at the top of the app dashboard.
3. Make sure your tracker has battery life and bring it near to your iOS device.
4. Scroll down and tap the "Sync Now" tile and wait for the sync to complete.

Hope this helps, let me know how it goes! Woman Wink
