Having read 100s of suggestions and tried many, including the updates to iOS and Fitbit app, I am ready to get an iPhone this week.
The most galling thing is even AFTER their app update today, there is a warning when you open the app that reads “We are aware of an interruption to notification after iOS 13 etc.”

Where is that on my phone? The text message preview? I want to try it and see if it will work.

Hi Julie, if you go to Settings—>Notifications—> then under Notification Style click Messages—>then under Options for Show Previews choose Always.

This is the only thing of all the troubleshooting that fixed my text notifications.

I’ve been an iPhone user ever since I had a phone (aside from the fancy Razr, lol!). I have to say just as a reminder Fitbit offers more affordable options to the Apple Watch and they don’t charge for every individual thing the Fitbit does like Apple with its apps; sorry but I believe this is totally a ploy from Apple to try to gain control of everything theirs. That’s the exact reason we can’t do quick text on fitbits if you are an iPhone user. Apple wants to bully people into buying only their products and wants to make only their products work with their things. I have been super frustrated with the notification issue so I completely understand but I have had a Fitbit for years and think they really do work hard at customer service and will hopefully have a solution for everyone soon!

I am on the same boat, especially I just got Fitbit recently. The day I got it the text notification never worked. It was so frustrated. I tried to talk to theirs customer service, all I got replied us to tell me wait patiently for next update, and they can never suggest a date. I am at the point should I just return it before the due date.

Well according to Fitbit they have no idea on a fix, atleast what’s what a horrible supervisor astrid said. I am so over Fitbit at this point.
