So this WORKED for me on my iPhone 11.
after restarting phone and deleting and adding Fitbit app log into app.
2. Click on your profile picture in the app and scroll to notifications
3. The pop up they spoke about that no one was getting will ask to pair and hit allow
after this step click notifications again and you will see calendar, messages and phone clicked to green
4. Refresh in app and mine started working.
as a teacher I found their directions hard to understand bc I never had the “i”
after these pairing steps if you go to bluetooth you should now see the “i”
please tell me if this worked and I can also get a video tutorial If need be.

This did not do the trick. I have reinstalled the app, restarted the watch, multiple times as well and to no avail. Thinking of calling the support desk directly. Watch isn’t even a year old and it is not performing the function for which it was purchased. Really love it and want to support the company but feeling a little disenchanted.

Most of us have tried that. Including myself. No luck.

This worked!! Thank you! However, I hate that a preview has to appear on my phone in order for me to receive on my Fitbit. I don’t like my messages displayed for anyone to see🙄

Hello again @FindErica
I understand it’s hard not to be discouraged. But this actually has nothing to do with your Fitbit Watch nor does it have to do with the Fitbit App. It’s actually the new iOS update that was riddled with issues to include security issues. They then (iOS) slammed out two more updates shortly after the major update but that only caused more issues. There are TONS of articles all over the news and internet about the excessive issues with the iOS updates. Only some Fitbit individuals have been able to get their notifications to work. The ones that do get it working are not happy that a preview of their messages will show for the world to see which is a privacy issue. This is all stemming from the iOS update and not Fitbit, but regardless of its origin I do understand your frustration.

I did as well and I must say their directions are confusing. So what happened is when we update our watches unpaired like if it never existed. So you need to take it back to the beginning like when you first set it up.
go to your profile pic in app and click notifications in there which will trigger a pop up to allow notifications. If you don’t see that delete and reinstall app with a restart on phone as well. This will turn them back on and repair phone. Their directions made it seem like it was just a Bluetooth issue when in reality you had to resync the watch all over again. Good luck
