On iPhone go to settings - notifications - messages - show previews - when unlocked. You will start getting alerts after that on Fitbit. I have iPhone 11 Max on newest update and it’s working fine this way until they fix it

Best AnswerSame!!
i have literally tried EVERYTHING and I get no text, calls or Calender notifications on my watch anymore. Is this ever going to be fixed?? I’m running out of options and my versa 2 is brand new
Are there any updates on when/if this will be fixed? I was going to upgrade to a Versa because I thought my Blaze was just becoming obsolete and not able to update properly. But now I see that it’s all models having these issues. Really don’t want to waste $200 on a new one if this is not going to be fixed.
My versa works fine. I updated to iOS13 on my iphone XR today. Its an easy fix. People are just having trouble with technology. To allow the notifications, a person just needs to have their blue tooth on the phone forget the fitbit device by clicking the ! to the right of the fitbit device and then clicking on forget device. Make sure it is off the blue tooth connected list, if not click the ! again. Go to the fitbit app and it asks you to pair the fitbit device with the blue tooth. Click set up, then allow and you should be golden!
Unfortunately for me that did not solve my problem.

Hello everyone! I discovered a fix for this annoying IOS 13 update. I have the Fitbit Versa and updated my iPhone with the new software update which discontinued any text message notifications on my Fitbit. All other notifications went through aside from the texts, which are the most important to me. I went through all the troubleshooting, and nothing worked. I restarted the phone, deleted and re-downloaded the app, etc. etc. and nothing worked.
One thing that I read about is if you allow for the text message previews to show on your lock screen, the Fitbit text notifications will come back. A lot of users think you have to keep this option on in order for it to work but that’s not true.
This is what I did:
1. Click Settings on your iPhone
2. Select Notifications (I have the “Show Previews when unlocked option selected at the top of the screen)
3. Scroll down and select Messages
4. Select Show Previews and (temporarily) choose “Always” then exit out.
5. Send yourself or have someone send you a test text message. If your Fitbit then shows the text notification, go back into Show Previews and change it back to “When Unlocked Default”
6. Have another test text message sent.
This solved the issue for me completely, not sure why but it works and I’m happy again.
Good Luck

Best AnswerWow! I just tried this and it worked for me as well! I hate having my preview of texts on my phone as well. Ugh
Best AnswerAt least that's an option for iPhone to make it run. It has no effect on Android wether we have message preview on or not. Snap chat is still not working on fitbit
Best Answer@Amymarie1986 iPhones seem to be getting more workable "fixes" none of them work on Android. I only lost 1 app notification and fitbit supports idea of help was to suggest delete and reinstall. I told them I had already like 10 times.. No reply..... I've done everything from a factory reset of the phone (last resort ) to deleting and re-installing the affected apps IE fitbit and snapchat. I've factory reset the versa, I've dowmloaded earlier versions of the app. Nothing works. Not until we get the 4.0 version of the app and hopefully that fixes more than it breaks.
