Best AnswerThe problem is - some of us have done this. And the notifications work for about 24 hours, and then stop again. I hope this doesn't happen to you, but that's the real ongoing issue. All the steps and troubleshooting they keep providing "work"... but unless you constantly refresh and reconnect your bluetooth, it reverts back to notifications stopping after about 24 hours.
Is this not the same issue with the previous several updates? I have been having this issue for months now and it's incredibly frustrating. How can this not get fixed and why is no one helpful when I call about it?
Completely agree. I reset my fitbit about 3 times a day. It's bloody annoying.
I have had no notifications on the app dashboard since 18th June and no badge/trophies notifications since the 2nd June. All well before the iOS 13 update in September.
I can’t believe the volume of complaints on here and yet there seems to be no resolution from fitbit. Clearly a problem with the app.
Think it might be time to move to another fitness tracker
I have just installed iOS13.1.3 and the latest version of the Fitbit app.
I headed straight for Notifications / Messages and guess what it’s still the same SHOWING THE SAME DETAILS ENDING ON THE 10TH JUNE. That was a shout of frustration.......
No new notifications, no obvious changes basically ZILCH.
Fitbit needs to come off the pot and stop blaming iOS 13 for their incompetence. They need to go back to their app updates from the middle of June and check them out, the app was working as it should before then..
anyone got an Apple catalogue?
What absolutely **ahem**s me off is that since the IOS 13 upgrade was put out they have known there was an issue, so how about making it public!! This way, we can make an informed choice about whether to hold off on updating our phones!! Poorly done people!!!
Spoiler: they've known before iOS 13 - I had notifications issues starting in July. And while I keep replying to let others know and express my frustration, moderators keep moving my replies to a different thread and keep changing my posts. l specifically have replied to a thread for a reason.
I wish I could believe it's just an iOS 13 issue they're working, but I don't believe it is. They've known and only are going with official "Oct. 9" date of notifying about it - and yet I have tech support chats with case #'s stating they were working on supposed solutions long before this. FitBit is just wants sales.
I had the same problem but spotted that the iOS 13 update turned off the Bluetooth in the Fitbit app. Try going into settings on your iPhone and scroll down to the Fitbit app, tap it to open it and see if the Bluetooth is turned off, mine was. Turn it on and it will sync, happy days 😄 Let me know how you get on, good luck
