Anyone else whose fitbit Charge 3 won't even talk to your iPhone? I can't get my charge and my iPhone to see each other. I had to remove the charge from both the app and my phone, then re add it. It did pair but never synced after that. Now I still don't get notifications, or the app doesn't update, and the time is 25 minutes behind. Is this my charge malfunctioning (again, this is the replacement), or is this the IOS update?
I followed the instructions they sent out and now receive both call and text notifications on my charge 2. I’ve got the latest iOS update also.
Best AnswerI’m so f-ing pissed because of this. I have to have my phone on silent because of my job and I’m missing important phone calls and texts because the notifications stopped. Tried the ‘fix’ that was suggested and NOTHING worked!!! This better get fixed soon or I may start looking into an Apple Watch. 🤬
"we are aware that some customers...blah blah blah" was posted on 10/9. That was TWO WEEKS ago. Why is this so difficult to figure out? iPhone sent out another version of their iOS13 update, and still nothing on fitbit side. Come on guys, this is outrageous. Don't give us steps to fix the issue if every single comment back on this thread is saying that the instructions are garbage and don't work at all.
Which device did you have? I’ve tried everything for the flex 2
Best AnswerI've done everything and nothing's worked. What model Fitbit do you have? Maybe that makes a difference? I have a Charge 2
Best AnswerHas there been an update to this information since 10/10? I have tried all of your suggestions and more, and still am not receiving text notifications. I am getting very frustrated with my product that I paid a lot of money for, and a major function is not working for over two weeks now.
I have installed OS 13
but I’m having trouble receiving phone calls on my Fitbit I cannot except it. I can receive text messages with no problem
I have contacted Apple with this problem as well as anybody else experiment the same problem
Best AnswerPlease put it back to not having to show the text message preview on all the time. I work in a very public setting, so I don’t want my messages out on my phone screen in the public. It used to work with having the previews on the phone screen turned off, so please restore that option to protect the privacy of our text messages!

It was just as I suspected. A little bit Fitbit fault a lot of Apple fault. I update the firmware on my Versa lite, still would not stay connected. Updated my iPhone to 13.1.3 and NOW my Fitbit stays connected I get notifications on my Versa and it is working fine.
What makes all this so frustrating is (as I told tech support at Fitbit) we the buyer of the technology sit here and Apple says its fit its problem and Fitbit says its Apple’s fault and in the end it is BOTH of their fault and all we can do is sit back and wait for the engineers at Apple and Fitbit get together
