Bye bye Fitbit. Switched to the Apple Watch this week. Tired of not being able to use my Fitbit to its fullest.

This still has no solution??? I have done EVERYTHING and still no text messages. This is so frustrating! I just want my text message to be on my watch...to much to ask? I had them now gone. I feel like I wanted my money now sine I don’t have one of the major reasons I got the watch for. Very upset...I don’t have the money I pad to throw away

I did all the above and a month later I still don’t receive text messaging after the update.

I sent a message to fitbit requesting a refund or a new Charge 3 that will function AS ADVERTISED.

So glad to see fitbit posted an update to their compatibility issues... 2 WEEKS AGO. Fantastic customer service, fitbit. Almost as good as the 3-year-old thread asking for new fitbit challenges you've ignored. 🙄
I'm a teacher who purchased the Versa so I could see texts since I'm not supposed to have my phone out while teaching. (Specifically any texts from my sons who attend other schools.) I almost purchased an Apple Watch but since I'm a teacher money is tight, so I bought the Versa instead.
BIG MISTAKE. The function I need no longer works. I'll be asking Santa to bring me an Apple Watch for Christmas.

Please, if this works for you? Give me some Ku-Dos by 👍 vote!
With iOS 13 Apple now requires Show Previews be set to Always or When Unlocked to get notifications on any connected device.
It was Apple & not FitBit that changed the rules.
I also use a Garmin Forerunner 245.
Received this by email off their support team. Hope it helps Peeps in FitBit community too.
Garmin trackers & all devices on iOS 13 are having exactly the same issues as FitBit users.
In this self help I have replaced words Garmin or Connect with FitBit
I Am Having Issues with My FitBit Device After Updating to iOS 13 on My iPhone
With the release of iOS 13 permission settings to allow your device to communicate with your phone have changed. If you are experiencing an issue after updating your phone, review the following topics which should solve most issues.
The FitBit app displays the message "Bluetooth is turned off"
iOS 13 requires Bluetooth Sharing to be turned on for the FitBit app.
Below are steps to enable this setting.
From the iPhone, select Settings
Scroll down and select FitBit app
Toggle Bluetooth on
NOTE: For the best user experience with your FitBit device and your phone, the Location setting should be set to Always and all toggles should be set to on.
I Am No Longer Getting Smart Notifications on My FitBit Device
To correct this issue follow the steps below:
Check Bluetooth Settings
From the iPhone, select Settings

Under MY DEVICES select the "i" icon next to your FitBit device
Toggle Share System Notifications to on
Check Notification Settings
From the iPhone Settings, select Notifications

Cynical ploy by Apple to make software so complicated other developers can’t cope and so everyone goes out to buy more Apple products . It is crap though . Come on Fitbit you’ve had since at least June to sort this out

I guess I will have to take time out of my day to call them. Annoyed that they aren’t posting this “magic trick” here.
