Is yours working yet? Mine isn’t! I’m getting super upset. I even bought a new Fitbit. Nothing.

Best AnswerI use my Fitbit with an iphone, I have been fed up with not receiving my text notifications as it's the main reason I wear my Fitbit 24/7, after reading many of the concerns and things to do I finally got my text notifications to work by going into settings, notifications, messages, show previews and change to when unlocked. I don't like my previews popping up for everyone to see because it will work that way too, so I tried when unlocked and it worked and made my day. I don't think its a big deal for a preview to come up when you have it unlocked but it would still be nice for Fitbit to fix this issue so we don't have to make this unwanted change.
Best AnswerYou can fix it. Go to settings, notifications, messages, change show previews to when unlocked. I just did this minutes ago and it made my day to have my text notifications back.
I feel like 42 days should be enough time to figure this notification issue out. iOS 13 came out September 19th. It is now October 31st and my notifications still do not work. I have tried all of the steps 4 times now with no change. If this does not get fixed VERY soon I'm switching to Apple Watch and not looking back. Get your act together if you want people to continue to buy your products. I have had a Charge, Charge HR, a Surge, and now a Versa, so I have been a loyal Fitbit customer, but you're about to lose me.
Did that. Didn't work
Totally agree. This is insane. Should have gone with my 1st thought and bought the Apple Watch. Definitely a terrible mistake.
Best AnswerDon’t think it matters. Their updates are not helping me get my text messages to work again.

Best AnswerI’m having this same issue and after working back and forth with Fitbit over several days, they said since my device is outside of the warranty period, the only thing they could offer me is 25% off a new device. I told them I didn’t feel this was okay since it was due to a firmware update and they told me it was human error and there was nothing more they can do. I sure hope this isn’t the case now that I see all of these issues.
