For what it’s worth I bought three trackers that were those cheap ones from China on amazon after I sold my bit. I read the reviews and all three of them said the people were getting texts on the respective bits. After trying them out, none of them sent texts through iMessage. I got notifications from WhatsApp and line etc. I also got the phone calls though never iMessage. Just like with my Fitbit, same issue.
Apple has always been proprietary with their products and so they just want you to buy their products. I’m not surprised if they will no longer support third party products.
I don’t know if google intelligence will be able to fix this if they choose to. I checked the earliest message of this post and it’s from June. June you guys. So I think if you tried everything and you still want to use your bit, you better find out how to roll back to iOS 12.
I’m disappointed too.

Indeed - whilst many affected users continue to experience issues and simply grin and bare it, people’s patience is clearly starting to wear thin. Fitbit should not confuse customer loyalty with their own complacency that users will see it out. The longer this debacle rumbles on, with no end in sight it seems, people will vote with their feet and jump ship. Fitbit will only have themselves to blame.

Switching my phone from silent mode to regular mode & back to silent mode fixed the issue for me (for now at least). I like to keep my phone in silent mode & get notified on my Fitbit so it’s less annoying to others because they don’t have to hear my phone ring. Maybe something needs to be fixed to make notifications work better when the phone is in silent mode.

Sleep mode needs to be turned off. Fixes the problem.

Thanks for the sleep mode suggestion. I would, however, echo the many comments of others - we shouldn’t have to discover for ourselves, or rely on others, for any number of ‘work arounds’ to get our devices to work. They should work - without exception - as designed and advertised, as a matter of course.

Everything was working fine on my XS Max with the new software; however, when I upgraded and went to the 11 Pro, I can't my Inspire to even sync. I have tried unstalling the fitbit app, turn phone off and on, turn my wifi off and on. I then removed the Inspire from the device and am trying to re-connect and it just keeps indicating it is searching and can't locate it.................

The way I got
mine to work after this problem was by going specifically to messages and turning on the show previews of the messages when my phone is locked. I tried going to the general notifications to turn this on like it suggested but it doesn’t turn the messages preview on. You have to do that individually. After I did this all my messages and phone calls have come through just fine! My friends versa had the same issue and this fix worked for hers too!
