So, how about "Customer Service" (quotes intentional) told me to contact the retailer about a return. It was a gift, so I get the info from the giver (it was from Amazon). Amazon tells me to contact the manufacturer. Talk about going in circles.
I'm still stuck here with no notifications and less than stellar "Customer Service."
Hi Ya'll, someone posted this simple solution last week, and I haven't had a problem since. I now get all of my text messages! Has anyone else tried it?
Solution....Settings> Notifications> Messages and that is where I changed the previews for the notifications - show preview when unlocked
I'm talking about getting text messages on my Fitbit not my phone.
Yep. I have that setting set to “Always”.
I have tried literally everything. Literally. Everything. It’s not working. 🤷:female_sign:
Best AnswerOn iPhone go to settings - notifications - messages - show previews - when unlocked. You will start getting alerts after that on Fitbit but only see the message on your phone when you unlock it. I have iPhone 11 Max on newest update with a Alta and it’s working fine this way until they fix it

Best AnswerI have done all of this and it doesn’t work. I do not want to change my message notifications even to show when unlocked because of the places I view my phone and messages....people are so nosey. This is not a fix as it doesn’t give users the freedom to set their personal preferences. It’s needs to go back to how it was before.
I’ve done all of these things multiple times. Deleted the app and re-downloaded, updated Fitbit, updated phone and checked all settings. Still no notifications. When will this be resolved? I’m regretting my decision to purchase a Fitbit product.
yeah that did not work. I have tried everyone suggestion and nothing is working. Its worthless at this point.
Best AnswerI am too. Nothing has worked. FitBit seems anything but concerned. So
I've now appealed to Best Buy to credit my account toward the purchase of
an Apple Watch. I am told however it is quite an adjustment for those who
have been FitBit users for a while. Oh well, I guess it's an adjustment
I'm willing to make at this point to have functionality that I paid for. I
can't even in good conscious sell the watch to someone else knowing all the
features don't work.
Best AnswerHi @coachchristine please edit your post to remove your name and contact information. Public forums and you need to stay safe. Keep on stepping!
Still no notifications!! What a waste of money this watch has ended up being. Totally fooled In thinking I could use it to pay for items as well, when in the UK there is only a hand full of banks it will work with, and none of them are the main ones. Rubbish!!!!
