I am able to see notifications with the new software update but in my workweek hustle challenge my steps won’t transfer over to the challenge. I have gone through the steps above to try and correct the issue but it still won’t change my step count in the workweek hustle to reflect my current step count. I have tried removing the device from my phone and adding it back, resetting my Fitbit device, turning my Bluetooth connection off and on; nothing has worked. Please have someone help me.

Same here. I’ve attempted all steps and some several times. I have an Alta HR, which is already one of the older models. Worried I might not get the functionality back.

Are there any updates on this problem? My charge 2 hasn’t received any notifications at all since the update and I did all the troubleshooting ideas.

I was getting an apple watch this Saturday when yesterday, finally, Ingot my versa to receive text notifications. This is what I did (I have an iphone X and I had everything updated first - app and phone). I went into the phone’s settings, then notifications, I scrolled down to messages (I had done this before, but apparently the settings changed back). In messages, at the bottom, under options, change to show previews - always. Close everything and text from another phone. You should now get messages. Do everything again but change the preview settings from always to default. Hope this helps! It’s been finally working for me since yesterday

Thank you!
I think I’ve cracked it everyone!
Setting - notifications - messages - change show previews to ‘when unlocked’
I did same for WhatsApp and appears to have conquered the issue ... hope this helps xx

I think fitbit should reward all of us with some free fitbit+ for having to figure this on our own! Thank you for figuring this out!

I just had a breakthrough. On the Fitbit app Charge 2 account page, I turned on All-Day Sync, followed the instructions, and I'm back in business!

Same issue for me as well. It appears that this has been an issue for a while now and it is disappointing to see that this is still not fixed. I would expect more from fitbit.

None of these fixes have worked for me and I've tried them all. I have an iPhone 11 Pro with a Versa and both are on the latest versions of their operating software and Fitbit app. My wife has the same phone, but can't receive notifications with a Charge HR 2. I just don't understand how Fitbit hasn't fixed this notifications issue weeks after it's become apparent that it is a problem for thousands of users. Completely unacceptable. I'm thinking of switching back to the Apple Watch if this continues to go on.
I'm not even going to get into Fitbit ruining their app....
