So I have just updated to ios 13.1.2 and I am now receiving notification to my firbit versa If you have already tried these steps and it's not working [going to "settings" on my phone and clicking "notifications" and then clicking "show previews" then change that to (Always). I also have set my iPhone notification settings for the fitbit app in the "options" category at the bottom under "show previews" to (Always)]
You should also open your fitbit app and then click your profile and then click your fitbit then click "notifications" then make sure all of those buttons are active (Calls, text messages) Then click "App notifications" then make sure all the apps you want to receive are turned on. This is all I had to do to get mine to start working again after the ios 13 update. Sorry if this still doesn't help.

Thanks...we have found this out but the problem is we do not want to preview text on our phones...we have never had to do this before and it does not allow for privacy.

I just got mine working by doing the following:
1. Open up Settings - Bluetooth - Fitbit Product
2. Click forget device
3. Open up Fitbit app and click on your profile and then notifications
4. It will ask if u want to pair, say yes.
5. U should be all set.

I finally figured mine out after a couple of weeks. If you have an iPhone and currently have your text messages set to not show you a preview of the message, you won’t get the notification. I just set my text message preview to “Always (default)” and I got the text alerts again. Bummer because I don’t like people seeing my texts on the front of my phone. Hope this helps.

Have done the steps suggested by you, but unfortunately I still am not seeing the notifications from my iPhone. This wsd a very helpful feature on the Versa and I hope that you fix it soon.

Yeah but the problem I have with this is I don’t want people seeing my text. I want it to just be the name of the person texting me as before. I told Fitbit IT that I shouldn’t have to have it on preview in order for it to work. I didn’t have to do that before the update

My iPhone Bluetooth now doesn’t even see my Versa after following the suggested reset instructions. Just. Awesome.
