Suddenly the tempo after my running is showing tempo in feet not minutes?! I’ve went through my unit Settings in app. and online and everything seems right. Online min/km is shown but not in app. Why?!

When I run with the gps I used to get the pace in km/hour but suddenly it changed my pace  to fot and tum and did in on all recorded running activities, I have the right metrics when I go I settings and app settings. So I guess it must be another setting so were or the gps?

Hi, @Annika80, welcome to the community, sometimes when your Fitbit app on your phone is updated settings are disturbed. I suggest you review them. Touch your icon in the top left corner of the "today" screen>app settings>Units>set length to centimetres, kilometres>return to the "Today" screen & sync (slide your finger down the screen & release, the green horizontal bar will indicate progress)

I hope this helps.

Cheers

Sorry but doesn't make sense to me that tempo is shown in feet not minutes.  One is distance, other is time.  Tempo has to involve distance and time.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Same thing has happened to me and it’s super frustrating! Does anyone know how to fix it?

I see now.  Screen cap helps.  Sorry, but I have no idea what or what to do about it, other than perhaps notify Fitbit Help.  I doubt they have solution, but at least to make sure they know of problem, which they might not notice here.

Thanks, but it didn’t help. The settings were set on centimetres and kilometre.

I would if I could but the chat-function seem to be unavaiable, I can not find and Support E-mail and so not want to have to start a Twitter account. Thanks for you engagement!

Hi,

For the last week or so the lap times of my runs have been reported in “fot” and “tum” which is feet and inches in Swedish. Can you fix this translation error?

@rocc42   I will flag this post to get moderator attention, so this error can get passed on to the Fitbit engineers.  I hope it gets fixed for you soon.  I am also moving this post to the iOS forum, a better fit for an app issue.

Hi, @Annika80 Have you tried "restarting" your "Sense"? (first, sync your "Sense") Hold the side button for about 20 seconds, the screen will go dark and then the Fitbit logo will appear and release. After a further 35 seconds or so the clock face will reappear. I also suggest you restart your mobile phone. Let me know how you get on.

Cheers

Indeed… and seems like there’s no way to reach Fitbit about it.. not very customer obsessed 😞

@Ammie1021   @Calleey   Another user mentioned the same thing in the iOS forum.  This looks like an issue in the Swedish app.  If you are iPhone users, I can merge this into the other thread.

I flagged the other thread to notify a moderator.
