Syncing Help!

I bought the Alta from a friend who just recently also purchased the Blaze. Despite me setting up the app on my iPhone, the Alta won't sync with my phone and I am receiving my friend's texts still. We tried resetting the phone but I fear it's not going to work if we can't do a factory reset. Anyone have any suggestions? She has already removed the device from her app as well.

Hello and welcome to the forums @JanineNicole

 

Your friend might need to get her Fitbit out of range while you're trying to get all set up. Try setting it up again, as a new device to your existing account and see if this time it works out.

 

Be sure to use your own email address and not her old one.
