Ridiculous that you have to purchase an app to sync the data and even then it adds Fitbit steps to iPhone steps which is double dipping on steps. Frustrating that I’m reading threads that go back to 2014 and Fitbit refuses to allow data to be synced to the iPhone health app. Fitbit needs to fix this issue. Several threads are marked solved but that isn’t true. Come on Fitbit!!

I will just buy an Apple Watch next time. I’m tired of Fitbit not syncing with my phone. So frustrating!

Hi!
A small update.
I just found that you can now connect with Fitbit and Google Fitness App by using Health Connect.
Tap on your Profile-/Account picture in the FitBit app.
Scroll down to Health Connect.
Select connect and then after installation you can choose the apps that may connect.
Hope this works on iOS as well.
