Hello everyone!

I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.

Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.

Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.

Happy stepping!

Horrible, horrible new interface. As like the many other Fitbit users, I hate this new design!!! I mean HATE it!! I don't want to have to scroll to find info, or worse yet, to have to switch to a completely new screen to see info! I want to see a more concise, condensed stats at a glance. It hard to pinpoint exact dissatisfaction without seeing the old interface along side the new one to compare differences. This looks to appeal to a kindergartner. Did I mention that I HATE this new design?! Totally destroys my desire to exercise!

Completely agree. Plus I can barley remember my name and they want me to to remember to push this button, to go here, then push that button yo go there. Dang I get lost in my backyard.

I hate the new dashboard. I’m sorry to say. I’m a long time Fitbit user and I normally love my Fitbit but the new dashboard is not easy on the eyes and seems to show less. Can’t seem to find a way to revert to the old screen. Very disappointed in this update 😞

Totally agree with you

I don't care for the new app updates. The colors and visuals are clunky and not as useful as the previous version.. Please give us the option to roll back to the previous version.

Yes - don't like the new Inspire 2 display at all.  No response from request for help either (24 hours).  Possible to revert to former display?

I HATE this update!!! Change it back!!! I can’t see my battery life, there are redundancies that I have to scroll through to chart my water intake, and there are too many options to click through that I used to be able to see at a glance. We really should have the option to change it back if we don’t like it.

Ridiculous that battery level is no longer on app

Where does it show the battery life? If I click on the little phone I will say low or medium but not %

I started with Fitbit in 2014 and I just replaced my Luxe. I’m so sorry I spent the money. A friend (who also just replaced her Luxe) and I were looking at the Garmin Lily, and maybe we should have held out.

I absolutely HATE the new design.  It’s “cartoonish”, looks like it was designed by a child.

The new design is so boring! Please change it back. Those of us who have had Fitbit for a really long time like the consistency of the same main screen!

Consider me another vote for wanting the old interface back. This one is too clunky. Somehow it has both too much information and yet not enough in some areas. Not to mention, the “sleek” design is unnecessary. Can someone reply if there’s away to go back to the old interface?

Last year, I bought an apple watch and quickly returned it the next day because in terms of fitness tracking/the Fitbit app - Fitbit blew it out of the water.

That being said, I HATE the new interface. It's not an improvement, but a downgrade. I liked the color pallete of the previous app and how easy it was to quickly view all my data. Not only that, but it was much more customizable.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD INTERFACE!

Thanks for pointing this out.  I was able to find the silent alarms from that screen.

I absolutely hate the new look and interface. And I’m a person who loves change! Fitbit needs to give us the option to choose which style we prefer. I even hate the color. It’s unattractive, not user friendly, and unnecessarily crowded. I may have to switch to an Apple Watch. This is terrible. Very disappointing.

Best Answer

Agreed, terrible design, can we have the old one back please?

Best Answer

The new app is awful. How do we revert back because if I cannot I will be looking into a competitors app and device. This is not what I signed up to use.

*le sigh*

Google effing around with a perfectly serviceable interface again to make it properly less so because ‘they can’. Lordy, we get it, Alphabet; it can’t be yours until you’ve effed it up to the point it’s almost unusable.

Blah blah new step tracker blah blah. They’re counting on my apathy, and seem to have forgotten that Christmas is round the corner. Now they’ve cut all the ties I had with Fitbit (awards, friends, fun), it’s time to move. Now, Samsung or Garmin, that is the question…

@Urlocalsunshine  No way to go back 😥

no way to get our goal streaks back either.  This is so so sad!  We are all looking for other trackers to us and we will NOT be using Google products.  There has been zero response from Fitbit to all of our suggestions and complaints.
