I've had all the Charges and instead of waiting for the 6 release I decided to switch to a smart watch. I thought really hard about Apple but it's the battery life that is the turn off for me. So I went for the Sense 2 and, like the Charge, the battery life is amazing. Still getting used to it but so far I like it and I'm so pleased to have an altimeter again. Enjoyment spoiled by the disaster that is the app.

Sorry. Hate the new look. Hate that Google is involved. Loved Fitbit for battery life and functionality. Let's see how Google continues to change it before it dies 😞

How do i stop getting emails about this thread? i am following this anyway and reading all the new comments each day and voting them. but im getting fed up with going on my emails and deleting about 30 each time cos this thread is growing fast!

The new look is horrible! My steps are at the bottom. My hours of sleep are at the top in huge print and I can’t change the order. I want to see my steps. The numbers are huge. I echo what everyone else is saying. I’ve been a supporter of Fitbit for years but this isn’t working for me.  I want to go back to before this worthless update!

I can’t with this new app. Someone said it either on here or the Fitbit website forum but I feel like I’m color blind. I can’t decipher the data with the amount of white space and over minimalistic design. I hope Google actually looks at this forum and their online website and sees just how angry most of us are. If they don’t change it though, what’s next? I have an Apple phone but I wasn’t a huge fan of the Apple Watch. However at this point I would choose that over this horrible experience. My other options that I’ve researched are Garmin watches or Amazfit. What’re some ones that you guys will be going to if this app issue isn’t resolved?

i have just phoned Fitbit and the guy i spoke to said they are aware of the huge scale of p*ssed off customers. i said this thread alone is on 63 pages with coming up to 1,300 comments and each one getting loads of votes. i said i just heard its all over Twitter and other social media and made the news. he told me they are going to send out an email and we should get it in around a couple of days time. it will be a sort of survey asking us to rate things so we will be able to say what we think of this update on there

I really don’t like this redesign and agree with all the comments. Way too much wasted space so you have to scroll forever. Very bland so can’t tell things apart. You can’t see some icons as they are grey on a white background.  Seems crazy that this was seen as an improvement. Who market tested this?  I have been a loyal fit bitter for 10 years and at this rate won’t continue on my next upgrade. Very disappointed.

Hello.

i would like to announce that the new look app sucks. I think it is regrettable that users were forced to use it without being given a choice. I woke up to this. A survey of users would have helped. Some of the comments/suggestions would have been helpful, surely?!

I wish I hadn't done it - to be honest

Thanks for the update! I have also expressed my disappointment on Facebook

Mine takes much longer to synchronize as well and sometimes it just gets stuck. My watch says 8'558 steps and my app says 90. All the refreshing doesn't change a thing 😞

Worst update ever!  I'm an older person, but usually embrace change.  Loved the Fitbit until now.  I can't find some of the features I use.  I can't reorganize any more to show my favs first.  I can't hide features that I don't need.

I've had update on app for over a week.  Searched how to make it work for me, but alas, I'm just forced to see things I'm not interested in, and have to search out to find things I want to see.  Loved the previous tiles and ability to customize for me.  Fitbit really failed on this one.  Time to start looking for other products.. and I've had fitbits forever as an early adopter!

Please, make it better, or let me go back to last version which was really good!

Bring back the estimated calories for the day/ calories left to consume!!!! This was the best feature Fitbit offered. I've been a loyal customer for years and recently bought a new device.....If I had known this feature would disappear with the update, I would never have repurchased.

Hi, how can I get it to synch? I have run through the trouble shooting steps and it is still not synching properly. Some steps have been added now (it went from saying 90 to saying 5016 - so a bit closer to what the watch actually says, which is 8570) but the active minutes for example are not updating at all and neither is the heart rate nor the calories. Any further steps? When will the next bug fix round take place?
