Hello everyone!

I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.

Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.

Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.

Happy stepping!

It is the worst. Please give us the option to use the old app instead... Hate, hate, hate 😖

I am not enjoying the new app. I will now be looking into a different fitness tracking device. Extremally disappointed.

I also hate the new app and am strongly considering switching to another device/company after 10 years of loyalty.

Considering how many users hate the new app, it would be a great idea to offer the option to use the old platform. The prior app was great just as it was. It didn’t need “updating”.

The new app is bulky, cumbersome and feels old and outdated. It’s hard to find the information that used to be immediately available and it doesn’t even look nicer aesthetically. There isn’t a single thing with the new app that is an improvement.

Please do the right thing and give users an option to roll back to the old app. That or rethink the redesign. Not being able to access essential information within one click is just obnoxious and having to scroll all over the place to find info that used to be right in front of you is also really annoying.

HATE IT! The main page looks like the app went backwards 10 years.  Definitely not as good as the last one.

Yep. The new IOS app sure is ugly. It’s almost like Google is trying to kill Fitbit.  The app plus all the issues I am having with the Versa 4 will likely make this my last Fitbit.

Thank you. Will give it a try. 🙂

It looks waist of time. No one from Fitbit is commenting on how they will fix what was working before, LOL.

We need the dashboard back as it was!!! Make history on one screen instead of tabs for each week, all things I liked, and brag about it to Apple Watch users.

Mine has been doing the same thing.  I really don’t like the latest update.

The latest update is awful.  I wish we could go back to the previous version.

I agree the new app is terrible, bland and no color, hard to navigate!

It is so bad!   Can I go back to the old version?  There are so many more steps to get to any of the premium features. (Mediation is the one that sent me to this post…seven steps to get to my go to sleep meditation. Crazy inefficient). I don’t see any upside to the update.

Any suggestions??

If this update sticks I will not be be renewing my premium subscription that’s for sure.

Please explain why would you downgrade app to this garbage we now have!?? I cannot see my battery percentage upon opening app!? Everything is black and white!?? Heart rate info also crappy….Literally seems like a joke and a total downgrade. Whomever at fitbit made this decision deserves to be fired immediately!!
i just purchased the new luxe, now i regret it. Been a long time user, but if you guys don’t change back to the better option, myself and apparently many many others will no longer use this device!!

i just do not understand the logic of this change, it’s like someone handed over the design of this app to a new employee at fitbit that has NO clue what they are doing!?
change it back immediately…. It’s sooooo **ahem**ic i have no other words!

The new display is terrible. No possibility to see accumulated steps during a week. No possibility to see if the Charge 4 is loaded or to which extent. Please give us the old display back!!!!

The new app is visually unappealing and in no way an improvement. Restore the previous version!

I came here to say 'the latest iOS Fitbit app sucks balls' and see at least once person agrees.

It's not just the fact I can't see my battery charge in the app, it also now takes more taps of the screen to e.g. record food or drinks.  Previously there was a + beside the food and drink parts on the home page, now I have to tap into those sections before I can tap a + to begin logging what I've eaten.  It sounds like a tiny little thing, but I'm a fan of efficiency and those wasted seconds will add up!  Literally wasting moments of my life.

The app's had a problem for ages when logging food, and you want to log something you've never logged before for the first time, where it stays on a white screen for *ages* without actually letting you log the food, but now it's even worse and takes even longer to get around that white screen.

It doesn't even sync when I open the app any more, I have to force it to sync by pulling down on the screen.

It's really, really awful, what kind of idiot approved this to go live?  Why has it been so downgraded compared to the previous version?

What is wrong with your designers and QA, Fitbit?

Exactly!! Complete garbage.

Just some commentary.  I don’t really understand why this new UI went forward.  It takes up far more screen real estate for less information.  Perhaps my “problem” is my 13 mini but it doesn’t seem I am alone in this assessment.  Additionally, while beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I find this aesthetically less appealing and I don’t seem to be alone here either.

Why make me scroll and for the sake of utterly bland screen wasting UI?  I looked for options to alter this; here’s to hoping they exist and I just haven’t found them yet.

It is awful! I had just worked out yesterday and went to check all my stats and boom a new app! WTH? I can't put anything in the order I want. I developed heartrate issues from Long Covid and need to monitor it daily so that was always at the top. I also never wanted my Zone Minutes on the app and now I can't delete it.

You made a very bad move with this app Fitbit. And shame on you for not polling the community of users who have been with you for many years.

This looks like my four year old Godchild designed it!!!!

Unfortunately I think this will be the end of my Fitbit journey soon 😞  it was good whilst it lasted.

google not being clear about data was a big negative. The app features and usefulness let me overlook the data issue somewhat. The recent loss of some of those features in the app now swings the balance.

Tried on a couple of Apple Watches at my local store today to see how they felt. It’s now just a matter of how long it will take to save up for whichever model I go for.

New App Design is horrible. Especially the running result Interface is not appealing at all. Once more, it just show that Google is Not interested of the User experience, only interested in the user's data. I have my watch since 9 month and was absolutely convinced. Since Google took over I already consider to change my watch. It's a pity as you did so many things good in the past
