Hello everyone!

I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.

Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.

Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.

Happy stepping!

Bizar… I vote for this, and instead of adding a thumb up at the left here under… it brings it from 3 to 2???

The new update isn’t attractive, has less data., and the lack of color makes it difficult to differentiate between items. Makes we not want to use the app anymore. I will switch to another device when my subscription expires. I’m disappointed as I really looked forward to interacting with the app each morning and evening. .

Have there been any changes to algorithms etc within all the updates? My heart rate readings seem to have gone a bit mad. Resting has dropped & peak whilst on a walk is hitting the 170’s!

Yup. Vote with feet.

Just wanted to share my disappointment with the  ew look if the Fitbit app. It was much more visually appealing and engaging the older version.

I think the best description of how I feel about this update is ‘demotivated.’

This junk makes me want to avoid even looking at it.

I’ve noticed that if I’ve already upvoted something and mistakenly hit it again, the count goes down.

The indication that I’ve already upvoted is missing.

If you hit the vote button again it will go back up 😊

True. I neglected to mention that.

I think I remember this forum “working better” years ago.

That’s ok, it seems that according to the app, I climb 2 flights of stairs in my sleep! 😂😂 How can I possibly wake up, look at my app and see 2 under flights climbed! 🤦🏼‍:female_sign:🤦🏼‍:female_sign:🤦🏼‍:female_sign:

Yes, and they want you to go to premium? I don't think so!

Unfortunately my Fitbit Premium renewed two days before this horrible
update!

Apparently I received the update automatically- one of the worst interfaces I have seen. It went from crisp and clear to erratic and frustrating and looks as if it is from ten years ago. The spinning numbers make me dizzy; just give me the right info without my having to wait for them to stop. The old software was iffy at best, missing hours of sleep, and recording exercise time in cardio as below zone. It still does that, only worse. Some nights no sleep is recorded. If I run around the grocery store, it doesn’t detect activity, but two minutes moving around the kitchen get registered. Usually only one of the health metrics registers. This is the worse move Fitbit could have done. I’m tired of getting the same advice about restarting the Fitbit, plugging it In and pushing a button, removing the app and getting it again. Nothing works. It’s the software! If things don’t drastically improve soon, I’m moving on to a Samsung.

Decent response of FitBit management?  Still waiting for it!
i wrote to Fitbit support, in my language (Nederlands) about this poor update, immediately, last week. Had to remind them, after a week, that I was still waiting. Today I got the answer that they sent my request for giving us back the original Fitbit app design to the ‘higher management’. I suppose somewhere in the US?
Anybody in the same position? Anybody having had a decent answer from ‘higher management’ on this topic yet?

I agree I really don’t thinks this new design is user friendly at all!! I’ve been a Fitbit user for more than a decade and have always felt the app was so easy to see all the stats I needed to see to reach my daily goals. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!? Isn’t that the old saying? Please give us the option to go back to the old version!!!!
