Hello everyone!
I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.
Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.
Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.
Happy stepping!

I never post anything in a community. But this app is So horrible that I want to get the old one back. Luckily I updated only one of my two Apple devices.
How do I get the old one back? Anyone any idee?

Totally agree - the new design is so basic, boring and not particularly user friendly. I much preferred the original.

Since Google took over Fitbit everything they have touched has been massively downgraded both in look and functionality. I miss so many things but most of all the ability to participate in challenges with friends.
Since the new update a few days ago I have actually lost motivation to look at the awful monotone display which has lost all of its former clarity. The spinning numbers actually make me dizzy.
Pretty sure that if the founders of Fitbit are looking at the changes since they sold out they will be horrified (although probably they will get over it kicking back on the beach with cocktail in hand).
Today i cancelled my fitbit premium, its only 7.99 but it felt great hitting that cancel subscription button.

Anyone to recommend the best farming for sleep, running, swimming and walking. With proper dashboard that pushes you to do more. I can’t get motivated with the cr@p that Fitbit is now providing.

Trying to bury their mistakes. The F’s are deserved. I’ve received no useful feedback.

Supposedly per the Fitbit Support person responding to my first post is that we cannot revert to the old app. So, no hope unless their updates they posted look similar to the old app. I used to look at my Fitbit stats daily, no I look at it maybe weekly because it is so frustrating. I basically is using it as a watch. When it dies, I will be buying a different brand of tracker unless they fix this app similar to how it was. I am in IT and I cannot believe an app that looks like it does got implemented. What a joke. Very poor design.

I am unable to find how to rearrange the tiles in the TODAY page. Please help if you know how.

Agree!! First, I didn’t know Google had bought Fitbit. Second, how Google, which appears to be an innovative and motivating company for its employees, can develop something so dull??? The reason I got a Fitbit was because they had a smaller watch than other brands and I didn’t want to have a “phone” on my wrist. I stopped using the Fitbit when I sleep. It wasn’t accurate, showing no rest when I had slept very well and on the contrary like I had slept soundly when I hadn’t. Sometimes when I exercise it shows like no cardio effort when I’m working hard and viceversa, it shows Peak when I just started. But if this continues being so unappealing and giving wrong numbers on my activity, I’m switching to the “I” brand. I have an iPhone after all.

Sorry, but a 2-year-old is more creative, colorful and fun. 😄

"This constitutes everything loathsome about the modern tech landscape’s shady business practices...people bought devices like the Fitbit Sense and Versa 2 because they were advertised with a certain set of features. Google is clearly attempting to wean people off the closed Fitbit ecosystem and onto Google’s larger Wear OS one, but for a company to retroactively change a device’s features in the hope that customers upgrade is a horrible decision that leaves long-time users stranded, with no options except to upgrade and keep their data, or take their business elsewhere." Just wanted to add my review of new design.
It’s terrible. Getting a FitBit had really motivated me to exercise more and the old app was very clear and colourful. I’m most interested in active time. I liked the bold orange! Bring it back.

Well, if that’s their expectation, I’m not going to reward them for this type of manipulation. I’ll get a complete different watch not associated or linked in any way to them. Disgusting!

Tap the edit pencil. This brings up their horribly designed tiles screen. To change primary focus scroll that tile left. To rearrange the others slide them up and down.
yes it’s amateurish on their part and visually unappealing. But it can be done.
