Hello everyone!
I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.
Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.
Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.
Happy stepping!

How can you roll back to the old version? The new app is just horrendous.

AGREE 1000%! I’ve put up with having to replace my FitBit roughly yearly. The old app interface was one of the only reasons I stuck with the brand. The new app is garbage in terms of UI. You can’t see data in a quick, easy way. It’s so boring and monochromatic and uninspired. Makes me never want to open the app anymore and check my progress. Blech!

Agreed. I really hate this new update. It’s going backwards. I likes to be able to easily see my active mintute total for the week but the new update is not user friendly and very basic. I broke my smart watch so contemplating a new watch that uses a different app.

I can't believe Fitbit seems to be sticking to this new app design despite customer feedback. I can't find anything on the home screen where the colors run together. The design is too stripped down and I miss the old version.

Since I updated to the latest version, my screen shows blank data fields (even when data exists on the server), slow and/or failed syncing, and error messages telling me I am not connected to the internet (when I am and all my other apps work just fine).
I have closed/shut down the app and restarted it. I have restarted my iPhone (running most current iOS).
I was not impressed by the recent app revamp; the app now feels cumbersome and excessive. And the issues I have been experiencing since this more recent update are ridiculous. I don’t know if it’s the app or Fitbit servers, but either way, it’s a big fail for Fitbit.

The new app design is terrible. Google and messed a good thing up. I cannot find how/if we can still add steps manually. I hate this app

I appreciate the acknowledgment, but I don’t need to read about the issues—I am well aware of them! 😂 Why waste more of my life getting frustrated over Fitbit’s failings? When there is something HELPFUL in another post, I’d love to know about it.

Please bring back the old APP version! It worked, it was easier to customize and it was functioning properly, The new version is harder to use and difficult to get the view users want.

I have yet to see a single positive review of this new version. It is universally despised. In the last few weeks my motivation has just dived. I haven't hit my targets at all, and it's getting worse. I can't stand to look at the new screens. I'm seriously thinking about getting rid of Google altogether. There are other tools out there.

Because Brat, Fitbit could not care less about its loyal customers (me since 2015)

Clearly, they don't care. Who wants to do business with a company that is so dismissive of its customers. You would have to be a masochist. This is the worst example I have ever seen of poor customer relations.
They haven't even bothered to try and defend their botched dog's dinner of an "upgrade".
I hope they lose tens of thousands of customers, but I doubt they would even care about that.

After I downloaded iOS version 4.04 of the Fitbit app I had observed an improvement on the iPhone home screen refresh rate. I can now say that it was an anomaly, and that the issues with refresh rate found in prior versions continues to exist. The synchronized button on the home screen Was ineffective and using pull to refresh three, four or more times did finally get the home screen on my iPhone to refresh. When the poult refresh in the past has been a problem, I have gone into device/apps clicked on my device and then scroll down to sync now and done that sink now for , five or more times. I recently have started using the previous button on the home screen and then clicking on the next day button and found it to be affective most times. I am blind and have dictated this on my iPhone and hope you will be able to understand my ramblings .
