I keep changing my Timezone to Sydney but it keeps jumping back to Los Angeles. No matter what I do. I’ve deleted the app. Deleted all of my fitbits.
Nothing had worked and my Charge 2 reads the wrong time constantly. What can I do? I’m about to buy a new watch and if my app can’t work properly I may have to buy something different but I love the Fitbit.

Hello @Brooke80, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, thanks for joining our family! ![]()
I appreciate you've brought this to my attention. Tell me, have you set the timezone in the app to Automatic? If so, please follow these steps:
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else!
Hi @Brooke80 — I just got back to DC from a trip to San Diego and had the same problem — stuck On San Diego time. @MarcoGFitbit‘s tips should work, but for me it was as simple as cycling from auto time zones in settings to manual and back again to auto. I did not need to manually set it to DC, it just updated after I cycled back from manual TZ to auto.
Hope that helps. Let us know.

No success tried many times again and still in LA time. I love my watch but is becoming frustrating. I have used Fitbit for many years now and it is the first time this happened

Some more stuff to try. Remember you need to sync to update your fitbit, so sync after each change.
1. Set TZ manually, and, instead of PR, use one of the other options listed for AST like America/Martinique. Sync. If that gets the the FB to display the correct time, try going back to PR (sync) and if that works try the automatic setting again. If one of the manual settings works, but auto does not, just leave it on the manual setting that works.
2. Try setting it up again as a new fitbit. Sync first so you don't lose your steps for today. Then go into account settings on the app, select the device and scroll down to the bottom of the device screen where it says "Remove this Charge 2 [or whatever fitbit you have]"
After that you can go back to the "Set up a Device" link at the bottom of the account screen and add it back.
3. Delete and reinstall the app.
Let us know how it goes and what, if anything, works.
