Tracker is unable to sync.

I have tried absolutely everything I can find in order to reset my HR Charger, sync it, update it, deleted the app from my mac, reinstalled it, logged in and logged out, and anything else you can think of. It shows synced on my dashboard, but absolutely nothing has updated. The time is wrong on my fitbit and it restarts steps somewhere around 11 each day. It shows no activity on my dashboard and I am sick and tired of trying all the trouble shooting stuff I can find. I have spent two hours messing with this thing and I am ready to just throw it away. Any other ideas?

Hello @buzznfl22, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board! Smiley Happy

Are you trying to sync your tracker only with your Mac computer or are you also using a mobile phone? If so, please let me know the model of your phone and the OS version in it.

The time is showing wrong on your tracker because it hasn't been syncing but I would like to suggest you to set up your tracker as a new device in order to reset the connection between your tracker and your computer and / or mobile phone. Don't worry, this won't remove any of the information stored in your account so far.

To set up your tracker using a computer:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  2. Then, select Existing User, log in with your credentials and then click on Update Profile
  3. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue.
  4. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

To set up your tracker using a compatible mobile device:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  2. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  3. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else!
