Tracker won't update on iPhone

I am trying to update my charge HR after not having used it for a month or so. I charged it this morning and it has been sinking fine to my iPhone but when I go to update the tracker nothing happens. I press the pink button that says update tracker and it turns to grey while my finger is pressing it and then when I let up my finger it turns back to pink and seems like nothing has happened or updated. I have deleted the app from my running apps and I currently have Internet connected to my phone.

@Taylorbird If you are still having trouble updating your tracker's firmware, I would recommend:

1. Restarting your tracker.

2. Rebooting your iOS device.

3. Try to update your tracker using your mobile device.

4. If for some reason updating with your iOS device is ineffective, try updating with a different mobile device or a computer.

Let me know if this helps you out!

I'd recommend the steps in my post above if you haven't already tried them, they should help you out.

I've tried the above, but the same thing is still happening to me I tried using the Mac software to update it, but the software never loads.

I'm having the same exact issue with my flex I just got today. It seems to be an issue with the app or something... I've done all of the above except try with a computer, I don't have a computer.

@mshebel @Asik25 @AshleyHerndon Thanks for trying the troubleshoots mentioned above. I'm going to add one more suggestion to that list above that should help. Please try:

1. Restarting your tracker.

2. Rebooting your iOS device.

3. Open your iOS settings > turn off Bluetooth for 10 seconds > and then turn Bluetooth back on.

4. Try to update your tracker using your mobile device.

5. If for some reason updating with your iOS device is ineffective, try updating with a different mobile device or a computer.

Sometimes something as small as toggling your iOS device's Bluetooth on/off has a huge effect on firmware updates. Let me know if this helps.

Did you do all the steps the guy asked? I simply rebooted my tracker and I think it fixed it!

I'm having the same problem, I've restarted my phone multiple times, restarted my Charge HR about 20 times, tried doing it on a computer but it makes you download a bunch of stuff you don't need and probably have viruses and never gives you the Fitbit app, I've turned the Bluetooth off and waited over 10 seconds to turn it back on and now I'm here.

FOUND WHAT WORKED FOR ME! I tried all the steps outlined above except doing it via the computer (don't know where the dongle is) but what worked for me is to delete the app from my iPhone and then re-adding it. Then when I clicked on the pink bar (after logging in) it finally went into the update screen and completed the update. YAY. This has been FRUSTRATING and I almost tossed this **ahem** thing in the trash.

My app on my iPhone wouldn’t update for over a week, I manually powered it off and back on and it updated.
