Treadmill Workout

Whenever I walk on the treadmill I open my app and start an exercise (Log). When I’m done I hit finish and it shows me a summary of the exercise. However, I cannot categorize the exercise as “Treadmill” or manually enter my pace, so I don’t get credit for the distance walked in the day. I have tried adding the workout after for the time period I exercised, but then my steps for that period are erased from my daily total. Is there any way to fix this issue?

I don't quite understand how you are starting the exercise but it sounds like from the app.  And I don't know what model Fitbit you have, but if possible, use the Exercise App on your wrist, choose Treadmill, and start and stop it right there, and it will be categorized and have the pace all set as soon as you are done.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi there, @alarick22 . Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your workouts.

If you continue having issues with the exercise after checking what @JohnnyRow has shared with you, let's keep in mind that the way that you start your workouts is by using the Mobile Run, which is going to be using your cellphone as a tracker, if you want to be able to choose treadmill as the specific exercise you are about to do, you need to do it through the Exercise App that came on your Fitbit device.
