Trouble syncing with MyFitnessPal

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit app is no longer syncing with MyFitness pal. This happened last night and I tried the following:

- closing and reopening both apps

- restarting my phone

- revoking permission for data sharing in both apps, waiting, and then re-linking the apps

It didn't work at the time, but MyFitnessPal had my steps from yesterday this morning. However, Fitbit still didn't have my calories from yesterday. And now nothing that has happened to day in either app has synced with the other.

Help!

Mine won’t at all, it never shows my steps or anything.

Day 6 and still nothing. I only use MFP for the food diary and I’m still not seeing my meals. Wish Fitbit had a better food database and I wouldn’t need the third party app.

That’s what I use MFP for is the food diary, but I wish that I could get it
to log my steps, and the two apps will not connect.

Hello there. A warm welcome to our new friends @KirstenLW, @Jenoir1124, @ssalvin, @jobean5445, @Pandagirl1989, @Stacie1182 and @Vodkamonstaa! It's nice to see you around @JoniG77, @Jadefav, @Vivstepper, @SunsetRunner, @Voconno and @TishLaRae.

I'm sorry for the delay in my reply. Thanks a million for bringing this to my attention, as well for the troubleshooting steps that you've tried to get your information syncing. @JoniG77, thanks for keeping our friends updated about this situation, as well for the screenshots taken.

I'm glad to hear that MyFitnessPal is aware of this situation, and it seems to have been resolved, per their last update release today. They're waiting at this moment for the backlog of syncing requests to be successfully completed. I'd recommend to check Fitbit Sync Issues for more information and details, and don't hesitate to let me know if you continue having this issue.

@Vivstepper, thanks for your feedback about the food database used in the Fitbit app, and be sure that our team will continue working to improve our services and your experience with them.

See you around! Smiley Happy

I will try again, but as of yesterday it wasn’t working. It says that they
are connected, but it’s not.

My MFP data still hasn’t synced. Nothing has updated. I stopped logging my food two days ago. Not bothering to look at either app until this is fixed.

@Vivstepper keep an eye on MyfitnessPal's notice for their latest updates. Seems like it may take until Thursday to get through the backlog:

I re-paired both apps as instructed in the post and managed to successfully sync today’s steps and food. But all my food logs from Monday June 3rd to yesterday still wont sync.

I have had my Fitbit since mother’s day and I have never been able to get
them to sync. MFP says they are connected, but they won’t sync. I have
tried so many things and it just won’t work.
