Today if I click on the search bar to find a food it only allows me to create a custom food - no search results appear no matter what I type. This is the case before and after updating. I also deleted and reinstalled the app.

I too had this issue and then it was working fine. Monday 11/10, it is doing the same thing, allowing custom food data entry only.

I'm glad to read that this has been solved for some of you. For all other, that still are having this issue, please make sure that you have the latest Fitbit app installed.
We will release a new app update in the next few days. Please keep an eye open for it.

Well @AndreaFitbit, one other problem involves the serving size drop down in the Custom Food area which @JuanFitbit had also noticed when I brought it up on the same Community section.

Following the new update The barcode scanner now doesn’t. work. And when you click on it the whole app freezes.
I’m using iOS latest version and have updated to the latest version of the Fitbit app.

Of course the only issue left with it is that the arrow associated with the custom food page's serving size information is not working as seen in one of the other threads.

New food log issue. Now the entries are disappearing. I have tried many times, closed the app, deleted and re-downloaded the app, shut down my phone, ad infinitum… the food log not working is getting really tiresome.

Same here. It also appears that they have wiped out ALL of the detail in my custom foods. No more macros just calories.
Not sure this counts as a bug fix or performance improvement.
