How do I delete alarms? Every time I push the alarm tab it says there are too many alarms set and I must delete some but then it doesn't allow me to get back to that screen.

You should be able to long press the alarm that you want to delete and then get the option to delete it. The tracker needs to be nearby because it will want to sync after every alarm deleted.

I am having this same issue and am unable to access the alarm screen to delete an alarm or even use my existing alarms. Was this ever resolved for you?

Hello @Akwhite30, have a warm welcome to the Community! Smiley Very Happy

Have you tried logging out from the app, restarting your phone and then logging back in? Then, go to Account > Your Device > Silent Alarms. Tap on each alarm and a "Delete Alarm" button will be available. Remember to sync your tracker afterwards for the changes to be saved.

If you're still not able to see the alarms of if you get an error message, please take a screenshot and reply to me with it so I can check this further.

Keep me posted! Smiley Wink

I'm getting the same message with the same pop up window coming up. When I select OK I am right back where I started. I tried restarting my cellphone but nothing is helping. Help i need this to get up in the morning.

How many alarms are currently set up on your tracker? Have you experienced this issue before?

In this particular case I would like to suggest going to the Device Settings on your online Dashboard and deleting the alarms from there, once the alarms have been deleted, please sync your tracker.

Thank you for your response.   I tried everything that Fit it suggested and it didn't work.  I did as you said and logged off and then back on and I was able to delete the three alarms u wished to.  Thanks again!

Hi,

I have the same problem. Unfortunately the app won’t pick up entries made to the account on the website. The device syncs with the app, but the alarms that now seem to be deleted on the website account clearly are still there on the app, and entering new alarms on the website doesn’t correspond to the device through the app. It’s really very frustrating.

Hello @Safre, I hope you're doing well, thanks for joining the conversation, it's nice to see you around. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have brought this back to my attention. If you're still experiencing this issue I would like to ask you for a screenshot of the alarms on the online Dashboard where it shows you have already deleted them and a screenshot of the alarms as they show in the app. That will help me check this further and determine which steps should we take next.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, I'll be waiting for your reply.

Implication: the alarm works but can now only be operated from the website, not from the app. Highly unpractical.

Hello @Safre, I hope you're having a great day, I appreciate you have taken the time to reply with the information requested. Smiley Happy

At this moment I would like to ask you to delete all of your alarms from the online Dashboard, then open the Fitbit app and sync your tracker. After that, force-quit the app by double tapping the home button on your phone and swipe up the app. Wait for a couple of seconds and open the app again, then go to Account > Your Tracker > Silent Alarms and check if they were deleted.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else!

Hey I hope you worked it out. I had the same problem but turns out it’s just confusing to access them and you don’t access them in the usual way that you would to ‘add’ an alarm. In case you’re still wondering or anyone else is:

1) click on your account from the dashboard (the thing in the right hand corner that looks like a card icon)

2) click on your device. It will say ‘flex2’ or whatever your device is.

3) click on ‘silent alarms’. From there it should show you your alarms. You can then either click on an alarm and go into it to modify/or delete it, or simply swipe left on an alarm and delete it.
