Fitbit Update 9/28/2018: We are aware that some users on iOS 12 are unable to log weight using decimal points or foods using a comma. Our team is currently investigating. As a workaround, you can add your weight and food through Fitbit.com and it should populate correctly. Thanks for your reports!

The issue still persists even after installing today´s update (25 September). The same happens also when logging custom foods - no decimals available.

Also not capable of logging my weight with decimals since the last iOS update... I have done everything that was suggested (logging out and in, turn off phone etc) but nothing helps. I have the same issue as the screenshots shown earlier in this forum.

@rolvmarius, your posting identified the exact problem. Thanks. And yes, the comma or decimal point should both be recognized, depending on where you are. For example, in the US, we use the decimal point. The upgrade to IOS 12 seems to be the common thread among the posters. Now Apple is a good company. I love my iPhone and iPads. But ... they frequently seem to release operating systems early, counting on end users like you and me to identify the quirks.
This is not a perfect answer, but I suggest that for now, you enter weight in whole numbers ... ie. 148 rather than 148.7. Apple should have this sorted out by the next incremental update.

I have the same issue. Just found a temporary solution: if you type your weight in another app, with a ‘,’, you can copy paste it info the Fitbit app. Not really a long term solution, but it’ll do for now. Hope Fitbit fixes this soon!

@Mewrl Brilliant!!! Thanks! That’s the best tip so far, better than logging in fitbit.com ‘cause that doesn’t sync with the app. Your solution is both more simpel and it actually works in the app!

Hmm... this is already second time in a short period wit quit 'severe' issues of logging health data to the fitbit app, recently for one week we could not add food and now again a issue with weight logging.
Fitibit as a health tracking platform seems to be not really stable and reliable.

Kate, the new log interface in dashboard is horrible! It’s utterly useless. All the features that made your site great are gone, specifically running totals of the days macronutrients. I want the old interface back. Can I somehow get it back? If not, then I will have to leave Fitbit and it’s products for something more practical.

The website version of FitBit is unusable as the Dashboard interface has been changed - and does not allow you to enter food. iOS 2.79 on my iPhone is similarly disabled - you cannot enter food details - only quick calories. My patience with FitBit is close to running out.

Hello @numbat15 and @Ahinkle74, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around.
I appreciate your participation and for sharing this situation with us.
@numbat15, Would it be possible for you to reply to me with a screenshot of what you're able to see on your in the Food Section of the online Dashboard and the Food tile in the app Dashboard? This will be very helpful for me to check this further.
@Ahinkle74, please note that the Fitbit app only displays macro-nutrients in percentages in the Fitbit app and this hasn't been changed lately but I would like to ask you for a screenshot as well so I can check this further.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, I'll be waiting to hear from you.

Hi Moderator,
You asked for secret shots of the 'Food Section' on my two devices: iPhone 8 and 20016 27" iMac.
Thanks for changing back to the old interface - much easier to navigate and more utility. Assuming you want to change in the future, please ensure that you keep a simple interface with all information on one screen (not in four tabs as the 'new' interface wanted). Also please remember, those of us who use the large screen dashboard do for a reason: you can get more onto a screen and read it easily. If I wanted to spend all day looking a tiny screen - which I don't want to do, then continue with the new interface - but only for those with time, patience and energy to work on tiny screens. Please keep a single screen for the browser-based interface.

Hello @SunsetRunner and @numbat15, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply.
@SunsetRunner, I appreciate your input and feedback about this situation. Our development team is currently aware of this issue and is working towards a prompt and proper resolution for it, in the meantime please log your food through the Food section in the online Dashboard.
@numbat15, thanks for coming back and provide the screenshots requested. I can see now that you were referring to an entirely different issue. Please note that our team revert the changes made to the Food section in the online Dashboard and you should be able to log your food from there now and check macro-nutrients in grams again. I appreciate you've taken the time to provide your feedback and insight about this situation as well.
I hope this helps, in case you need anything else, please let us know.

Previous you could log small changes in the weight but now you also have to log at least 2,5 kg. Are you working on changing that as well?
