I just received my Fitbit ionic a few days ago(OS 27.32.10.20). It is paired with my Iphone 6s (ios 11.4).
So far I have not been able to receive any notifications on my ionic. I've tried to repair via Bluetooth, re start my phone, nothing has worked. All the notifications settings are correct in both my iphone and on the ionic, yet nothing seems to be coming through.
Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for letting me know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. At this moment I would like to suggest you to reset Notifications from the Fitbit app following these steps:
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and tap on watch. Then tap on Forget this Device.
- Force-close the Fitbit app by double tapping the home button on your phone and swiping up the app.
- Open the app again and tap on Account > Your Device > Notifications. You will receive the following Pop-up:
- Then, once you tap on Set Up, the app will begin setting up your tracker with the Bluetooth on your phone, which will prompt the next pop-up:
- Tap Pair
- Once you get back to the tracker options, tap on Notifications an enable the ones you'd like to receive.

This did not work, but I did find the solution!
In order for text, phone, or calendar notifications to come through on the watch, the show history alert MUST be enabled on the iphone settings.
This can be done by going to settings>notifications>messages(phone, calendar)>alerts>show in history(selected on).
