Unable to receive call text notifications / iOS11, firmware 21.40.2, app 2.41

Upon recently upgrading my firmware and iphone to iOS 11.02 I no longer receive call or text notifications. I've confirmed all my notifications are on for the Fit Bit App, Do Not Disturb is off.

Other tactics I've tried:

- Restarted the alta several times.

- Unpairing and repairing alta.

- Deleting alta from app, deleting app, restarting phone, reinstalling app, adding alta back in app

Anyone else having this issue? Fit Bit community managers, what else should I be trying?

Just worked with an awesome Fitbit Chat specialist. We figured out the problem!

Under notifications, you must select persistent vs. temporary for notification style. Once you've done that and ensured all notifications are on for the app, force quit the the Fit Bit app and reopen. 🙂

You bet!  Keep in mind this is for iOS 11 🙂

Settings ---> Scroll all the way down to the "Fit Bit App" ---> Click Notifications.

Make sure everything is "green"/on and under "alerts" choose "persistent".

If you go to notifications in your settings and then find the one that’s
titled fit bit then you can choose either Temporary or a persistent

What do you mean by "Force quit the app"?

I am not getting Texts or Phone and I used to?

Fitbit:
  • Notifications On
 iPhone 10 iOS = 11.2.1:
  • I have said forget device and then re-paired it
  • Notifications:
    • Allow Notifications ON
    • Sounds ON
    • Badge App Icon ON
    • Show on Lock Screen ON
    • Show in History ON
    • Show as Banner ON, Persistent
