Hi, hope someone might be able to help.

My dad received a fitbit but never uses it, and mine recently broke, so I'm trying to set up his fitbit as mine, I've removed it from his account and removed my broken one from mine, however when I'm on the app (ios) and try and add a new device it says that nothing is found.

Any one got anything that might help or any solutions?

Thanks in advance!

Hello @ElleExercise, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Which tracker are you trying to pair? Have you updated the Fitbit app recently? If so, I would like to suggest you the following:

  1. Restart the tracker, then leave it plugged in and charging.
  2. Restart your phone
  3. Turn off the Bluetooth on your phone for 15 seconds by going to Settings > Bluetooth. Then turn it back on.
  4. Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the setup process
  5. Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal.

Then, try to set up the tracker once again:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  2. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  3. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else. Smiley Wink
