Hello @Sarah169, @tdsgirl078 and @Kel0207, thanks for joining us, it's great to see new faces around the Community!
Which tracker are you trying to pair? Have you updated the Fitbit app recently? If so, I would suggest restarting your tracker and then plug it in, making sure it's charging before trying to set it up once again. Additionally I would like to suggest the following:
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone, check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
- Restart your phone.
- Try to set it up once again:
- Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
- Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
- When (or if) the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else!

Hello @Antoinette48, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!
Have you updated the Fitbit app recently? We have just released a new version of it and usually the error 400 is displayed when the app is out of date. Please go to the App Store on your phone, tap on the Updates tab and check if Fitbit is on this list. If it is, please update it and try to set up the tracker once again.
I hope this can be helpful, let me know the outcome!
