Update 6/26/2018: Hi Everyone, I've merged a few threads together. Thanks for your iOS notification reports.
Based on customer feedback, we stopped showing notifications in the Notification Center. You can continue to receive these notifications as push notifications by turning on Push Notifications in the app under Account > Notifications. Additionally, ensure that Notifications is selected in your iPhone settings.

@Notdebie Do you have Notifications enabled in your iOS phone settings? I would also try toggling Push Notifications. Let us know how it goes.

I Do have pusb notifications enabled - although it annoys me that I have to allow this now. Especially since I am still not getting the notifications.
I much preferred the old feature- since it worked!!!! And I didn’t have to allow more phone access to yet another app.

@Rose_M, @Motherlove I hear you are not happy that notifications are no longer in the notification center and will definitely pass this on to the team.
For now, I would try restarting your phone. Then ensure Notifications in your iPhone and Push Notifications in the Fitbit App are enabled. Also, note Notifications won't be received if Do Not Disturb is enabled or if the app is in Driving Mode. If you still aren't seeing any Notifications, let me know.

I have done all of this and still no notifications ! I really liked them and wish that the Fitbit team would reconsider.

Ditto... notifications green in iOS settings. Still nothing
Solution doesn’t work- nor do I see any way we will ever receive the overachiever notification, since that always depended on when you opened the app.

Hey @Caroleyoungs, @Notdebie great to see you here and @Rich_Laue thanks for the input.
I appreciate all the screenshots and information about this issue. This thread is getting confusing, could you please tell me which is the specific issue you are experiencing? If I am not wrong, you are not longer receiving Fitbit notifications right? Could you please tell me which phone are you using and if you have checked if your Fitbit app is updated?
Hope to hear from you soon.

in the app under notifications we used to get messages like 2000 more steps hit your daily goal. , overachiever your 2500 steps over your daily goal . nailed it you met your step goal these all stopped on June 17

Ditto to @barskiswife. The notifications we received via the icon on the bottom right of the mobile app...the little thought bubble.
I think we mostly realize the latest update scrapped this feature.
1- we aren’t happy with that and want the feature back.
2- The suggested solution is neither an acceptable solution for most of us nor is it working for some of us. ie we don’t want to have to use push notifications and even when we have them turned on it’s still isn’t working

@Motherlove I see that you spoke to customer support and were able to find the notifications. Good news.
As mentioned, notifications are no longer in the Notification Center (found by tapping on the bottom right hand side of the map) this is expected behavior, but you should see them as a Push Notification (see below) and by swiping down on your phone. Just make sure your configurations are set as shown in my post here.

@Rose_M Which Push Notifications are you not receiving? There was an outage for a few hours for goal notifications yesterday that may have affecting receiving that notification.

Hi just wanted to voice my opinion regarding the notifications being turned off. They really encouraged me and I would like them back on.
