Finding Fitbit heart rate very inaccurate. Can I connect heart rate strap to Fitbit and use it instead of Fitbit?

No, that's not possible at the moment.

 

I'd also be surprised if fitbit offer it in the future as by doing so they would be agreeing that their heart rate readings are inaccurate and I doubt they think that.

Thanks Steve. The Charge2 heart rate monitor is not just a little inaccurate, but at times, for example when you do spinning, it is completely inaccurate. Just a little movement of my hand position could bring a change in seconds from 97 to 125! Will use Strava for this purpose.
