Versa 2 not syncing to iPhone SE

My Versa 2 stopped syncing to my iPhone 8se on 10/27/21 - I believe this was the day I updated my ios.

 

I see today’s steps 🙂 but they are not recorded in the app ☹️

 

Bluetooth shows connected 🙂 but sync will not complete ☹️


Details:

+ ios version is 14.8.1 (I just noticed that ios 15 is available)

+ ios app version is 3.5

+ versa 2 is version 72.1.15 (may be a later version)


How do I get this working again?

Thanks for the detailed information and the time taken while troubleshooting your Versa 2. I'm sorry you're having this experience and just to confirm, may I know if you have multiple Bluetooth connections nearby? If this is correct, make sure to turn off the Bluetooth from those devices to prevent any interference during the syncing process.

That being said, I'd recommend trying the following steps:

  1. Remove your Versa 2 from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  3. Restart your watch to refresh its performance.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  5. Select your Versa 2, tap Replace Device and follow the on-screen instructions.

I followed your instructions.

I got to the point of re-pairing the device. The code displayed on the
phone (showing they were talking). Then I get an ‘abort’ error.

I tried to sync following this and it still fails.
