Versa dead after iOS 13 update

My Versa completely stopped working after I did the latest iPhone update. Won’t turn on, won’t restart. Just a black screen. I have tried everything I’ve seen mentioned and from further reading I’m not the only one with this problem. My Watch was in perfect condition with a full charge at time of the update and this is the first time I’ve ever had an issue. Is FitBit going to offer replacements?? This is just unacceptable.

After being told all they'll give me is a discount towards a new one, I flipped out and said I'm switching to Apple because this wouldn't be an issue if I just had the Apple Watch and he then gave me a case number and said he'll submit it for a replacement review. But I won't hold my breath on that. I'm so pissed, I love my FitBit but this is just poor response to a big problem they have and I may just make the switch to Apple so I don't have to worry about this happening again.

I'll also add that the discount they offer is not even for an equal replacement - its for cheaper versions. I'm so mad, this I just poor customer service.

As an update I went out and bought an Apple Watch today from Verizon and I asked the tech if he had heard of others having Fitbits crashing and issues after the latest iOS update and he said i am certainly not the first one that has been in to replace theirs with an Apple one!

Lol wow this makes me mad. I have the exact same issue right now! New versa and it crashed with the new update. Just a black screen. Wondering if I should even bother to ask for assistance. I don’t want a stupid discount on a cheaper version that’s for sure. What a scam! Shame on you Fitbit!

I wouldn't waist your time. I have had an Apple Watch since it happened to
me and I'm so happy I did, works great no issues and does way more. I was
disgusted with FitBits customer service, its a shame because I did love my
Versa.
