Work week steps and per Hour steps not recording

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My fit bit does record my daily steps but only records about 10% of my workweek and weekend hustle steps, and it does not accurately record my per hour steps. Let me be clear, this is not a time zone issue AND I have not manually recorded my steps. I can't figure out what's going on, any help is appreciated.

Hello @Mnmike, thanks for joining us, welcome! Smiley Happy

Have you tried restarting your tracker lately? If so, my suggestion would be performing an accuracy test to check if your tracker is behaving normally.

To perform the accuracy test:

  1. Restart your tracker one more time
  2. Put on your tracker and check the step count.
  3. Walk 100 steps, making sure to count a step each time one of your feet hits the ground.
  4. Pause, then check your tracker to see your step count.

If your tracker counted less than 100 steps or more than 100 I would recommend contacting our Support Team. Let them know the steps you've performed so far, I'm sure they will be happy to assist you further.

Keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink

I followed the steps you recommended: I restarted the Fitbit and then I performed a step count test. The step count checked out aok. The Fitbit is recording my daily steps, that is not the issue. The issue is that it is not recording my steps in the workweek and weekend hustle, and my hourly step activity. It only records approximately 10% of my challenge steps and none of my hourly step activity.

Any other suggestions? If you recommend contacting customer support, how do I go about doing that?
