i got a new phone today, because of that i had to login to the app and pair my inspire 2 again. for whatever reason my fitbit wouldn’t pair to my phone. i tried turning bluetooth off and on like the app suggested but that didn’t work either. the second option was to restart my fitbit by holding down the sides for 10 seconds after that i was able to pair it. once i synced my fitbit i saw that all my data was gone. i mean everything, my steps, my calories, my workouts, my sleep data, etc. the only thing left was a few days from 2016, my fitbit is old but i don’t even know if that was from me. even the data from earlier today is gone, on my fitbit itself too. i’m at a complete loss, i have no idea how i can recover it. has something like this happened to anyone else? if you can please please help me.

@ellle1 -- Congratulations on your new phone, and I'm glad you eventually got your Inspire 2 to sync with it.
Unfortunately, any data from today that was not synched before you changed phones until you started syncing with your new phone is gone. But historical data synced with Fitbit servers should still be there. Can you see it on your computer? On your Fitbit app? Try logging out of your account and the logging back in (on both phone and computer if you cannot see historical data in either place). Also, clear the cache on your computer browser, or try a different browser.
Hope that helps.

Hi @ellle1 - like @Baltoscott says all data loaded previously to your account should still be there after changing phones provided you login to the same account.
Even a watch button restart shouldn't lose any information that hasn't been uploaded yet since the last sync.
Try logout and log back in with your old account used on the old phone.
