Well, it only figures I should have tread a bit more carefully in beta waters. =(
I am trying out dev beta of iOS 11. As of so far, all of the apps I use have been working well. Along with only one other app (that I cannot think of which it is) that I use, the Fitbit app also keeps crashing on my iPhone. It has worked seamlessly throughout iOS 10 of course. But iOS 11 is not playing nice with Fitbit. I have even hard-reset my iPhone with iOS 11, started from scratch and installed Fitbit app. No cure. I hope somebody over in Fitbit app developer land is aware of this issue, and a fix comes soon. Thanks.

Fitbit Notifications randomly work on and off. Followed the solution on this thread, but apps that send out notifications don't appear in the Fitbit app. I agree it must be the way that iOS has changed how notifications are sent over. Hopefully a fix soon as public beta is now out 🙂
Best AnsweriPhone 7+ iOS 11 beta 2.
receiving call notifications. No text or calendar notifications. I think it’s due to the changed lock screen and drop down Notification Center. The settings of notifications are also different. I’m sure Fitbit is the one to release an update that is compatible with iOS 11.
I am glad I found this thread because I have tried everything.
Best AnswerI am on 11.2 as well and still not seeing Text. Anything else special you need to do? I already have Notifications enabled in the app.

Best AnswerI have an iPhone 7 iOS 11 developer beta 15A5304i. Not the revised one. Fitbit charge 2. Call notifications work. Messages and calendar don’t. However, today, out of the blue, the messages and calendar notifications worked for a few hours today. And then, suddenly, they stopped again and only calls work. Nothing changed in settings. It’s so weird!! I’ve read that someone else had them working for a few hours too and then they stopped. I hope they soon get sorted and the reason is found for this erratic behaviour.

Best AnswerYou are a gentleman and a scholar. I was able to track it down to crashing during the syncing process by disabling Bluetooth, but I didn’t think about removing the device from my account and resyncing it. This worked like a charm.
Best AnswerNot sure I follow. Are you now receiving text messages on Charge 2 after removing/adding the device? I just did this and still am not receiving texts on the device.
Best AnswerOK, amending this. . .
I had to put phone in airplane mode and then follow the attached steps. . .
