Fitbit iOS App version 2.20.1 should resolve this problem. If you haven't already updated, click here to be redirected to the iOS App Store.

Fitbit Update 3/15

It has come to our attention that some iOS users are reporting that tiles are missing from their dashboard after updating to version 2.20 of the Fitbit iOS App. For users who are experiencing this issue, I would recommend the following:

1. Make sure that your iOS device is connected to the internet.

2. Force quiting the App by: rapidly double tapping your iOS home button > swipe left until you see a preview of the Fitbit App > and then swipe on the preview to force close.
3. Restart the App.

If the troubleshoots for some reason are ineffective, users are still able to see their fitness data on Fitbit.com.

Our team is currently working on a fix for this issue and I will be sure to post updates in this thread as they become available.

Yesterday and today I keep having tiles rearranging and/or disappearing when I open the iOS app. I've tried rebooting and that usually restores the missing tiles, but then they're all out of order and I have to edit the dashboard again to get them back where they had been. Anyone else having this?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @fenchurch1. It's great to have you here. This behavior sounds weird. Please try setting up your tracker as a replacement device. If this doesn't work, it could be a good idea uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app. Rest assured, none of these workarounds will affect your data. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for stopping by, see you around. Smiley Very Happy

I am also having this issue! It started today. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but this had no effect.

I have been having the same issue for a few days and it seems to be since the app last updated.
It's particularly frustrating as it's the steps tile that is disappearing and the device tile so it doesn't sync my steps for the challenges.

I'm having this same issue!!! It started last night. My device disappeared from the app dashboard as did the step tile, active minutes, and mileage tiles. I tried reinstalling my device but it said it couldn't find it.

Weirdly they all reappeared about 1/2 hour later but are gone again this morning. This is clearly a glitch in the app.

I tried deleting and reinstalling the app and it worked until now.
I looked at the account section and my device is not listed and adding it as a new device has come up with 'request failed: forbidden (403)

I am having the same issue. All my tiles are disappearing except for calories burned. This happened three times. I've logged out twice and it came back on, but this morning I was trying to sync and although it said it synced as of this morning none of the data came through. Now all the data I had since sun are gone.

I managed to add my tracker again which worked but now the tiles have disappeared again and I can't sync again.
So now I have tried everything you suggested 😕

Yes the exact same issue for me, and can't force sync from account, the option is missing

@Lead Just to double check, when you:

1. Click the "Account" button in the bottom right-hand corner.

2. Click the tile with the tracker you want to sync at the top of the App.

3. Scroll to the very bottom, you don't see a "Sync Now" button or the status of current sync under the "All-Day Sync" toggle?

Please keep me posted!

Tried all of this and the advise from everyone on here, but still no luck! Is it a case of wait till Fitbit correct it!?
Best Answer
That is exactly correct. I click on account, my tracker is not listed any longer but I can still scroll down and my "sync now" is gone

Same. I can do a couple of things (log out/in) that make all the tiles reappear but only very temporarily. And they are out of order when they do reappear. I changed them back, but they didn't stay in order, then disappeared again.

It's getting very frustrating now!

Exactly the same problems for me, started three days ago. On my iPhone as well as the Dashboard on the web. Frustrating!

I may have found a workaround for this. It appears that my app REALLY wants the calories burned tile at the top (it's usually in the middle). So when my tiles reappeared the third time I rearranged them so the calorie tile was still at the top with the steps, mileage, and active minute buttons underneath (instead of at the bottom where they reappear).

So far no more disappearing tiles/device. It does this weird twitching thing when I first open the app back up, but everything stays in place & working otherwise. Don't know if it will work for you all but worth a shot.
