Fitbit Update 3/15

It has come to our attention that some iOS users are reporting that tiles are missing from their dashboard after updating to version 2.20 of the Fitbit iOS App. For users who are experiencing this issue, I would recommend the following:

1. Make sure that your iOS device is connected to the internet.

2. Force quiting the App by: rapidly double tapping your iOS home button > swipe left until you see a preview of the Fitbit App > and then swipe on the preview to force close.
3. Restart the App.

If the troubleshoots for some reason are ineffective, users are still able to see their fitness data on Fitbit.com.

Our team is currently working on a fix for this issue and I will be sure to post updates in this thread as they become available.

This worked TEMPORARILY, like everything else I've tried. It's right back to the issues again. It's nearing unacceptable to me.

I agree! This needs to be fixed asap! My steps need to be synced! I had to withdraw on 2 challenges.

I'm also having the same issues. Tiles disappearing and rearranging themselves. It also does not sync correctly or regularly. I've tried all the suggestions & nothing works. Hope you are diligently working on fixing these issues!!

Having the same problem and it didn't do that before I reinstalled for the new app because it wasn't working at all.

I think this happened to me as well. I synced around 7:30pm last night with my iPhone and it synced fine (after a run) but when I synced again with my phone shortly before bed, (around 1am) the tiles disappeard on my iPhone. It appeared to have started syncing, but suddenly stopped, which is when the steps, stairs and a few other tiles disappeard from the iOS dashboard.

When I checked my account, my fitness trackers (Surge, One, Mobile Track) were no longer listed under my account, only my Aria scale.

I checked on my iPad and the Fitbit website and could not find my trackers listes as well. I think the missing tiles are the symptom of my trackers no longer associated with my account.

I added back my fitness trackers back through my comptuer and the tiles have since reappeared in the iOS app. It also seems to have pulled in my sleep log from last night as well.

Hopefully that fixes the issue for me, I will probably be checking throughout the day.

I cannot get any data for steps heart rate or stairs either only show a few times have removed and re added have switched blue tooth off then on again been like this since Tuesday tried to set up on my of and will not let me not happy at all about this cannot sync at all

Hi, all, although the stats are disappearing from your dashboard, your Fitbit continues to sync normally, so don't worry, your steps won't be "lost" -- they will just be temporarily invisible!  Force quitting the app or logging out should help temporarily, but, unfortunately, until there is a fix, at the next sync they will become invisible again...

@gillibop , that sounds like a different issue than the one under discussion here.  It is a little difficult to understand what you are experiencing.

Restarting the app doesn't help. Neither does logging in/out of the account. Steps, Miles, HR, etc. are missing.

This is very frustrating. I hope it gets fixed quickly.

Thanks for staying on this issue. I've been watching similar comments & the replies tended towards explaining basic "how to" rather than confirming there was a real issue. Hope this fix comes quickly - not being able to see the whole dashboard can affect workouts.

A week for me now with these mysterious issues and I´m beginning to hesitate somewhat, when it comes to the whole Fitbit system.

I´m relatively new here; I have just started an account to try out the app (using my iPhone´s activity meters), before buying an actual tracker. Have really been looking forward to buying the Alta, which seems to meet most of my requirements (apart from also looking really nice!).

So, dear community, is this an unusual mishap? How is the track record for software glitches and quick updates/fixes?

Please fix this. I talked my wife into ditching her Garmin for the Surge because it's worked so well for me. Now it's not.

@Markmo This problem should be resolved with the release of iOS App version 2.20.1. If the App isn't already updated, click here to be redirected to the iOS App Store.

@tosv I'd recommend re-setting up MobileTrack on the Fitbit App. This can be done by following the "Adding another tracker to an Existing Account" work flow mentioned here. This should help you get back on track!
