Update 9/17/2019: We have released iOS app version 3.6.1 to all users. Please update your app to this version. It is recommended to all experiencing continuous crashes and should resolve this issue.
Hi Everyone - I've merged several posts together.
We're aware of an issue that may cause some iOS users to experience a continuous crash when trying to open the app after updating to version 3.6.
To resolve this, please try to uninstall and reinstall the app from the app store. Even if you have tried this previously, please try again.
If this does not work, our team is working to resolve it and hope to have a fix soon. Be sure to keep your Fitbit device and app up-to-date to ensure you receive the quickest resolution.
We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

Best AnswerI’ve got the same issue - started happening eve before I installed the latest update 🙄
Best AnswerHi, my iPhone fit bit app has suddenly started crashing (no recent IOS update). When I open it, it says ‘updating’ and then crashes saying internet connection is required, even though it’s connected to WiFi. I’ve tried going to settings and changing app features there, but no joy. I’ve also deleted the app, logged back in and tried again, but it’s doing the same. Any suggestions please? It’s a charge 3. Thanks!
I'm having the same problem. The app was working quite nicely on my iPad mini 4 this morning, and now this afternoon it keeps crashing. I tried the delete re-install, but not it keeps crashing while trying to update. This need a fix
Best AnswerExact same thing is happening to me. I've deleted the app and reinstalled it twice but doesn't help
Best AnswerIOS 12.4 iPhone SE. Update to 3.6 and now doesn’t work. Other threads on this but no one at Fitbit has replied. Hope they are busy working on a fix!!
Same problem and neither my iPhone 8 or iPad can detect the tracker on Bluetooth. Restarted phone and tracker but no change.

fitbit have dropped a bad release. I expect they’ll rerelease with a few hours.
Best AnswerI am having the same issue. Trying to access app & keeps flipping me out on my Iphone. Worked earlier today
Best AnswerI’m wondering if it’s actually the Fitbit version 3.6 bug fix that is the issue & not the IOS 12.4.1 because I updated that a few days ago, but the 3.6 updated yesterday or today!
Same issue here. Just started noticing issue in the last 30 minutes. It was working earlier today. I removed app and reloaded app and that didn't help either.
Best AnswerI just received my new Charge 3 and unable to download the app on iphone X or ipad without it crashing. Frustrating! I've called once and on hold to try again.:(
