Update 9/17/2019: We have released iOS app version 3.6.1 to all users. Please update your app to this version. It is recommended to all experiencing continuous crashes and should resolve this issue.

Hi Everyone - I've merged several posts together.

We're aware of an issue that may cause some iOS users to experience a continuous crash when trying to open the app after updating to version 3.6.

To resolve this, please try to uninstall and reinstall the app from the app store. Even if you have tried this previously, please try again.

If this does not work, our team is working to resolve it and hope to have a fix soon. Be sure to keep your Fitbit device and app up-to-date to ensure you receive the quickest resolution.

We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

Just did and it worked. Still not connecting with other apps; e.g., WW.

I’m sorry, I can’t help there...maybe the WW Community can shed some light on it for you. Good luck!

Google syncing issues with whatever type Fitbit you have. It could be as simple as turning off Bluetooth and reconnecting...or shut down your Fitbit for 5 mins and turn back on. Sometimes that works on mine.

Deleted Fitbit App from my iPhone 7 and reinstalled on the App Store and it works now.  I did not lose any data despite the warning on my iPhone that said I would when I deleted it.

Ours works now, since they updated the app to 3.6.1.

Didn't need to uninstall the app or anything.

Hi, I have a Charge 2 on Android, everyone is talking about the new update.  Where do I find the update on the App or is this update not for Android?

I tried to install the latest version of the fitbit app on my phone and it simply won't let me do that.  When I click on install, a window comes up and then disappears.  Hope you get the problem solved soon.

Same issues here today- try to open app and it just snaps shut.  So you are saying we will not lose all the previous data if we reinstall the app ? Just want to make sure!
