iOS app freezing when opening Exercise tile

Is anyone else having issues with their app freezing when they go to check their workout/run? I can’t access the heart rate, or maps ect. This just started today.  I’m on vrs 4.04. It starts to open the section then it won’t let me scroll, go back, edit, or check the hidden menu.  I have to close the app every time.  My iPhone is up to date.

Today, may 25th the App is still freezing at selecting my workouts. This is now almost a year a bug! Very very disappointed!!!

May 29 - went on a long walk yesterday. The walk didn’t log the distance and freezes when you try to open it. It is disgraceful that they can’t or won’t sort it after almost a year. Things have not been good ever since Google took over. I’m thinking if switching to Apple Watch!

Yes, mine is still freezing up, not showing maps or stats. Will Google ever fix this?

Good news. The issue with the app freezing when checking the exercise tile should be solved on the new app update (v4.20)
If possible try updating the app to the newest version. 

Please let us know over here if the issue got solved for your or you still need assistance with this.

I just updated to version 4.20, and my app still freezes when clicking on a
specific exercise. It did not freeze when I clicked on my Walk or Strength
Training exercise. It froze when I clicked on my Run exercise. I closed app
and re-opened to test further, and confirmed that every time I open up a
Running exercise (which has a map icon next to it), the app opens the
details and then freezes.

Well Well - it still dosen’t work. And as of today we can’t access the information on the web. The dashboard has now been murged into the app - which doesn’t work……..

I cant belive, but i think the freezing bug is fixed now. With the current Version iOS17.5.1 FitbitApp 4.21 the map with the track is visible and the App dont freezes. I checked several bike trainings and it’s still working.

How does it look for you? Can you confirm this?

Tip: Do not touch a running system!

I'm glad to read that the issue has been solved for some of you. 

For those who are still having issues. Please make sure that you have installed the latest Fitbit App. After the update/installation, turn your phone off and on again. 
Log in on the Fitbit app and verify if you are still experiencing the issue with the app freezing. 
If so, please let us know over here so that we can have an overview of you all that are still experiencing difficulties .

After the latest update 4.21 - food logging locks up after I enter a couple of items and I have to exit the app and restart

I'm not quite sure if I have understood your comment. 
Does the app still freeze after logging the food?
Does it still freeze  when trying to open the exercise tile (site) ?

I previously had issues with the app locking up when I opened a GPS tracked exercise and would have to force close and restart a couple of times before I could access the log. That seems to have stopped but now it locks up when entering meals. Since everything has to be done in the app now I have multiple items to add for a meal. I can choose one item, select ‘log and add more’ and usually enter a second item but when I try to ‘log and add more’ for another item the app locks up and I have to force close and restart.

It does still freeze after updating both my device (charge 5) and the app and restarting everything. I have switched to an Apple Watch last week and I will no longer be using Fitbit products.
