Ace 3 screen timeout to quick

I just got my kids they're first watches. Looking at the forum I am worried that there will be no feature update where we can set the screen timeout for Ace 3. It is way too quick and I was looking for the option to increase the timeout, but no luck. The same request was posted 3 years ago for Ace 2 so it looks like they can't be bothered.
