I just bought both of my kids the Fitbit ace 2. When I created their profile in the family section it then explains to switch to kid view. When I switch to kid view it hangs out on the loading screen and eventually shuts down the app and I have to log in and try again. What is the problem Fitbit? I’ve updated my phone and the app, I’ve restarted everything and nothing is working. I bought these for my kids and I can’t use them because of this problem. When will I get an answer? I called the customer support number and my fiancé reached out on Fitbit support on Twitter and we still have no answers. Don’t you think this is something you should tell people about so we don’t spend money on a device that we can’t use????? HELP ME PLEASE! I specifically chose these over the garmin vivofit 2 because my fiancé and I use Fitbit but I’m really starting to regret that decision.

Same here. I have the latest iOS app version (3.24.1), and even did the standard app delete & re-install. Still gets hung up trying to switch to Kid's View. It's a bummer, especially on Mondays when I'm trying to sync their Ace2 watches so I can see their week's comparisons.

I am having the same problem. My daughter is so frustrated that she can’t see if she reached her goals.

Same issue on iphone xr and fitbit version 3.24.1. Can't switch to kids view. Spins indefinitely and when I close and reopen it asks me to log in.

I am having the same problem. I uninstalled the fitbit app from iphone 10 and re-installed, to ensure latest version (3.24.1), but still the fitbit app is hanging when I try to switch to kids view. Very annoying.

This is getting pathetic hey? My daughter wears her Fitbit and asks for her sleep update every morning. If she’s not getting that, she doesn’t want to wear it.... meanwhile we are trying to motivate her to keep moving throughout the day. With Covid going on, it’s difficult. So I need this fixed ASAP and it seems it’s taking Fitbit way too long to figure out this issue.

Can’t Fitbit just withdraw current version of the app and allow download of the old version that worked?

Hi,
I am also experiencing this. I have tried rebooting the Fitbit, restarting the app uninstalling & reinstalling the app, and restarting my phone (iPhone) but I cannot get the app to switch to kid view. I updated the app last night and am not sure if this is part of my issue.
I’ve experienced this before but usually a restart of the app and/or my phone fixes the problem.
As he hasn’t synced for a few days, now his watch is out by 2 hours, with no way of using it simply as a watch/ step counter.

Yep! Same! Myself and my teenage daughter have Fitbits all set up fine! Today purchased an ace 2 and a charge 2 for the 2 younger kids! NOTHING! The only way around it is to make them born in 2002 and make there accounts private! But really wanted to be able to see them all as a family

Since last weeks update I’ve been having the same problem.
not happy at all, wife and I both long time users and recently bought the ace 2 for our son, and not been able to update all week.
terrible considering this problem has been ongoing for over two years.
get it sorted or we will move to another brand.
