Fitbit Ace 2 keeps resetting

My son had his Fitbit back for the first time in weeks, we charged it last night and he wore it to school. It reset itself in school and then again at home. 
It’s only linked to my app in my phone, and no other apps downloaded to the Fitbit.

I am sorry to hear your son's Ace 2 resets itself. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. I recommend restarting the tracker by following the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
