Need to migrate to Google with old Fitbit Ace 3?

I have an old Fitbit Ace 3 that my daughter was using. She gave it to her brother. I've removed it from her Fitbit child profile and am trying to add it it his Fitbit profile and now it is saying I have to move to a google family account to add it.

We are an Apple family. I have all the family tracking and controls setup through apple. I do not want to join google family and set up more accounts when I already had this sorted in Fitbit before removing it from my daughters account

Can someone please advise. This is not a new account or a new Fitbit Ace, it is from 2021.

Hi @AmyIs.  I searched Fitbit's Help articles.  I expanded the relevant section for you here.  Although the subject line refers to the Ace 3 in Quebec, the answer says that a new Child Account must be a Google account, effective June 2023.  I will flag your post to get a moderator's input.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @AmyIs. I'll be happy to assist with your Ace 3 query.

I understand that the device is from 2021 but in order to set up an Ace 3, you must create a family on Google. For more information, you can check help article that @LZeeW shared with you.
