As the main account holder I keep getting locked out of my Fitbit dashboard. When I enter the correct password to switch back into parent view. It is telling me that I do not have permission to do that. Please help

Same thing is happening to me. I've changed the password and uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Still can't get back into the parent screen.

Yes but that doesn’t work. I keep getting prompted for a password and when I put it in it says it’s wrong. I just changed my password and it still does it.

I’ve had the same issue since yesterday. Even after a password change it still won’t let me switch to parent view. Can log into the website just fine.

I am facing the same problem, I can’t switch to Parent Account. It’s asking me for the password and as soon as I provided it, it’s said the password is wrong. Even I changed it, it’s still happening.

I've confirmed I am using the correct password and I am the guardian of the child. Why can't I switch back to parent view?

I have contacted Fitbit and they haven't been able to help. Yesterday is when this problem started happening. I have two kids who have Ace 2. I am able to switch to child view but when I try to switch back to parent view it says my password is incorrect and I don't have permission to perform this action. I switched my password but still nothing. So for me to be able to switch back to parent view I have to delete the app and reinstall and log in. Then I log into child view and it does the same thing so any time I have to switch to my children's view and switch back to parent view I have to delete and reinstall the app which is super super annoying. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Fitbit gave me two options and I did both with zero luck. Thanks.

And the same here. Was working three weeks ago and now stuck in child view. Have to delete the app then reinstall and not use child view.

Same thing is happening to me. This actually first happened to me a few weeks ago so I reset my password and then re-entered it into the app and it worked. This obviously doesn’t work now. Hope they fix it soon!

Have you found a fix for this yet? I have tried everything you did and it is still stuck in kids view. Frustrating!

Hey everyone! Sorry for the delayed reply.
Thank you so much for sharing details about what you're experiencing when switching to parent view from child view in the mobile app.
We’re currently working to resolve it and hope to have a fix soon. Be sure to keep your Fitbit device and app up-to-date to ensure you receive the quickest resolution. We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.
In the meantime, you may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app. This will help you to log out from the app and get back to the parent view but won't necessarily fix the issue.
Once again, your patience is truly appreciated.
